There are 7 - 10 people taking take of the duties of the Board of the Playback Theatre Network Finland. New Board is selected each year, but some people are - luckily - committed to carry the duties over several years. Here are presented some of the people from the present and past Boards.

Jukka Virtala

Jukka Virtala was selected as the chairman of the board on 2008. At that time he was working as a Regional Artist of Dance in the Arts Council of Pirkanmaa, Finland.

Jukka is a dancer-pedagogue living in Tampere and working around the country. He has studied Playback Theatre in Stadia (Helsinki Polytechnic School Metropolia) and been an active member of Tampere Playback Theatre since 2001.

"There are always big changes in work and life of a freelance artist. I hope that Playback Theatre will stay in my life for long. It has given me so much joy, consolation and comprehension that I want to keep sharing stories through it."

  

Jari Aho

Jari Aho

  

Jari Aho is a Playback Theatre Conducter and trainer, psychologist and educator living in Hankasalmi and working around the world. Jari is a graduate of School of Playback Theatre, New York.

  

Jari was the first chairperson of the PTNF and is still a member of the board. He is also Board member of the IPTN and Finland's membership secretary.

  

Jari is a member of Playback Theatre Raakku in Tampere and director in two Playback Theatre companies: Kikatus in Hämeenlinna and Helposti Höynäytetyt in Hankasalmi.
